Dr. KV Shivanand Reddy
Founder
Dr. K. V. Shivanand Reddy is a highly esteemed Consultant Neurosurgeon at Continental Hospital, Hyderabad, with over 15 years of dedicated experience in the field. Renowned for his expertise in managing complex brain surgeries, neurovascular surgeries, minimally invasive spine surgeries, and emergency brain and spine trauma surgeries, Dr. Reddy has earned a reputation as one of the leading neuro and spine surgeons in India.
Dr. Reddy’s academic credentials are exceptional, beginning with his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He further advanced his education by earning an MS in General Surgery from JSS Medical College, Mysore, where he graduated with a coveted gold medal. His specialization in neurosurgery was completed at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, where he once again distinguished himself with a gold medal. He has also pursued international fellowships, including FRCS in Neurosurgery from Edinburgh, UK, becoming the youngest in the state to achieve this milestone. Additional specialized training includes minimally invasive spine surgery from Wooridul Spine Centre, South Korea, and cerebrovascular surgery from Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Reddy’s commitment to advancing neurosurgery is reflected in his extensive research contributions, with multiple publications in international journals on topics ranging from spinal epidural abscesses to complex spinal surgeries. His work has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Award for Young Achiever in Neurosurgery and recognition at several international conferences for his research.
Sneha
Co-Founder
Sneha, the co-founder of Epirelief, brings a wealth of experience and compassion to the table. In addition to her pivotal role at Epirelief, she serves as Managing Partner at Genesis Pain Management and Sim and Sam’s Party and Play Town in Miyapur.
Her journey with Epirelief is deeply personal. While managing Sim and Sam’s, Sneha witnessed a life-changing event—a young child, full of excitement, suddenly experienced a seizure during playtime. The incident left a profound impact on her, sparking a drive to do something meaningful in the field of epilepsy. This experience, combined with her leadership roles in healthcare and community-focused businesses, has equipped her with unique insights and a commitment to making a difference.
Sneha’s diverse background allows her to approach Epirelief with a unique blend of empathy, innovation, and strategic thinking. Her work across various sectors has shaped her vision for Epirelief, ensuring it remains a trusted source of information and support for individuals and families affected by epilepsy.
